I've had drivers get negative pay for trips before but barca seems terrible. My drivers are already at 4.2 rating but still they make negative profit from barcelona to basically anywhere practically every trip and then don't find anything on the return also almost every time. They re-did the economy for the new Cargo Market and separation of cargo from trailers, so any job your drivers were working when you updated now has invalid data and results in negative income. The next jobs that they take will have them back to normal. There should be a reason to upgrade the hired driver's trucks. Some examples: Upgrade to get better, higher paying, longer distance jobs. Upgrade to increase truck reliability and decrease repair costs. Upgrade to keep your drivers happy, more happy -> more profit. #10. Upgrade employee trucks only if you have cash to burn. Employee's get better over time and produce greater profit regardless of rig. Have patience, as your drivers accumulate more job miles they will level-up and make more money per job. My top drivers make something like 20K to 26K per job, that's for 5.2 and 5.8 level drivers. My newest drivers often make -500 job runs. Yes, that means it cost me 500 for that job - no profit at all.
